Emaan School

Emaan School (Supported by Emaan Trust)

Emaan School in Sheffield was founded in 2013 to fulfil the needs of the children of the Arab and Muslim community. It is obvious to many that children in the West face a lot of challenges and obstacles. Hence, it was a necessity to establish a model school that meets their educational, cultural and social needs. The Emaan School has been established by the support of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf. May Allah reward them.

By joining the School, students take 3-4 years to be able to read and write in Arabic, know how to pray, understand other aspects of worship and learn the fundamentals of Islamic teachings. The Emaan School focuses on the teaching of the Holy Qur’an and the Arabic language through a sound curriculum and proper approach aiming to have a generation of Muslims who represent Islam and share its values. The School consists of five classes, covering different age groups from 5 to 16 years old with 75 registered students. The School is open for 6 hours a week and runs after the formal school.

The School runs from Fatima Community Centre located at 105 Brunswick Road, Sheffield, S3 9LQ.
